Can SNMP be used to set Active Directory passwords?

Well, the servers have an agent, and I've seen some "aftermarket" agents for Windows servers as well. But documentation on what the agents can do seems strangely light, or non-existent. So the question is whether these agents can make AD changes or not.

Can SNMP be used to set Active Directory passwords?

I can't seem to find any documentation on what the included snmp agent is capable of.

Anyone know a sniffer or some centralized solution to monitor which workstations visited what sites on the internet? Looking for simple, elegant solution. Thanks.

How to monitor IE usage by user ( who went where when )?

Anyone know a simple and elegant solution for this? I'd like to be able to refer to some log to see who went where and when. Not the spying type, but users have been abusing the internet connection, and trying to filter out "bad" content is useless. I'd hoped to find something simple in a...

AVG File Server ed.: server is very slow: scan and cc for each user ?

(Thanks for the reply.) I've done that, and what makes me think I have this configured incorrectly is that each user has a different setting. If I login as Joe, I show that task enabled; as Bob, not enabled. I would think the fileserver edition would have a way of administratively enabling...

    AVG MS SQL SERVER Problems

I'm not quite sure I understand the problem, but I'll put this out there, just in case it helps, or leads you in the right direction: Some AV's have the effect of paralyzing database connections by subjecting every file or snippet thereof to a scan. If the logic (or lack thereof) in that data...

AVG File Server ed.: server is very slow: scan and cc for each user ?

Whoops, I should add that this is, of course, a terminal server environment, thus the multiple "logged" in users. Also, I'm aware of the "for all users" option, but this apparently just ensures a no-logged-in-users server will run tests. I just want to avoid multiple simultaneous scans. Thanks.

AVG File Server ed.: server is very slow: scan and cc for each user ?

Just installed the file server edition and it runs avgcc and the scan for each logged in user. This doesn't seem right: shouldn't this run as one process that scans and traps, not as a new process for each user? And it's bogging a fairly powerful (and low use) server down something awful when...

How do I assign a value to a field?

I want to open an MSACCESS form, go to the "new" record, and copy a value from the previous form to a particular field in the "new" record. For example: Auto shop invoicing--I open a form "new invoices" and select an existing customer. But the customer is bringing a new vehicle so I click a...
