Forwarding for dns servers?
Do you have a windows network with a dns server inside your firewalled network? Do you have a firewall that is just doing a simple dns request forwarding?
More info would be needed to identify your problem.
What are the IP addresses of your new dns servers?

Might be internal component. We had one that actually introduced static to the whole small community network not just the phone system it was on.
Also if its an analog trunk, it may be the board. Some of the newer analog boards seem to not be as robust as previous analog boards.
They need to stop beta testing at the customer level.
I've seen many private builds in a short peroid of time.
It can't be the person programing the IP Office that is doing the bad programming if Avaya has to release a private build to resolve the issue. Its Avayas programming that is at...
I'll give you an instance of a software issue. We had a customer that would park a call and then when they picked up a parked call it would occassionally pick up another line mid conversation. The line it picked up didn't have to be parked, it would pick up a line that had a current conversion...
For the most part yes, but when it just starts doing an infinite reboot and they haven't touched it or made any changes to it, then they call the person that sold them the product to come fix it.
Almost every problem I've had with software has gone to level three and required patches or as Avaya calls them special loads.
I think we have had 3 or 4 of them so far. We even had an Avaya Engineer come to one of our sites for a week to work on one specific customer that had issues. Avaya...
Every time we have had issues with firmware avaya has had to patch it.
We send the configs and they say it looks fine then it gets escalated and eventually we end up getting a patch when its a software issue.
I had one install with 3 digital expansion modules that had dead ports out of the...
We sell IP Office and did so shortly before the 3.0 release. Since 3.0 we have had lots of problems with stability in both hardware and software. I've got one location I've replaced the phone system 3 times in about a year. Its grounded properly, has a UPS, etc.
Our Avaya rep said we are the...

Soft phone over software vpn from laptop. Calls from outside to a phone connected to the system sound great.
If the softphone picks up an outside line and tries to call out, it sounds good one direction. Choppy the other direction.
The person receiving the call hand hear the person on the...
Try changing the music source. We had someone that had an ipod that sounded bad on moh. Turns out they had the equalizer settings all messed up on the ipod and it caused some issues.

Voicemail Volume is fairly low when message is sent via email. Message volume is fine when stored on VM Pro, but not if it forwards to email. I have to turn cpu playback volume way up to hear callers message.
Any ideas?
Has anyone used the rate limiting functions on the interface.
Would they work well enough to say only x ammount of bandwidth is allowed on this port to help maintain bandwidth availability on DSL Link for VoIP?
The voip system would connect to one port that isn't limited. The port that is...
