I currently have my Avaya network (own network - only PRI and T1) and my data network on separate networks and switches. We are moving into VOIP only from out current digital and analog service. I was able to get VOIP calling to work on my standalone Avaya network, as long as I put in the...
Hello All,
My location is in the process of changing circuits around and part of those changes is eliminating T1 circuits from our current infrastructure. With that being said, the company is pushing services to convert to the "obvious" SIP trunks. Our service is directly tied to the other...
Thank you for the input. Thankfully they are not using BSR or Call Center. The 2 PBX are between 2 locations to allow DSN calls and LD calls to the areas. I am questioning if my system allows for such a connection. I'm just getting my head around all this - worked as OSP tech, I can splice...
Hello All,
I have an upgrade underway for a new circuit. We are currently using a ISDN/PRI T1 circuit to connect between two locations in different cities. The company wants to change from our digital phone setup to all VOIP and wanted to upgrade the bandwidth, hence changing from the T1 to...

Thanks for the help. No boot CD available and no ESXi password. The original person in charge of installing and maintaining the switch, did not leave any information or documentation aside from ASA login - thankfully that. I guess we are going to have ditch out some $$$ and call Avaya.
On a...
Hello All,
This forum has been a godsend for me. I have been tasked with up-keeping our phone system, recent employee left. I have mainly only worked on outside plant facilities, but thanks to this forum, I have managed to get by with some tasks on the switch. My current Avaya System...
