    Server Edition calls not anti-tromboning

    Is Allow Direct Media Path selected on the SCN trunks? I don't know if you will ever see what you are looking for in SSA. I think the call will show even though audio is not following the path.

    Agreed, You can mix. I've done it a few times. We even unplugged the Primary as a test and let it run for a couple days just to see if our solution was solid. There were no issues at all.

    Yeah, what IPGuru said. It is an rpm patch for One-X. Make sure that any Communicator and Outlook Plug-Ins are updated too. It is an interaction issue that is causing the lockup. The patch is useless if users ignore your request to upgrade.

    Open Security settings on the Linux machine from Manager. You will need to Open Config before you can open Security settings. Create the Service User there. Business Partner needs to be checked. It seems like something is broken in the centralized security.

    Bury the first 9 when using Centrex lines.

    Assuming that 9N dials N to 50 Main, you can add a 9 to the telephone number in ARS. so normally you'd use a code of XXXXXXX with a Telephone Number of N, You can do the same code of XXXXXXX with a Telephone Number of 9N.

    Thanks intrigrant. I didn't think this was the forum to go to, but didn't see one that looked right. I have added a thread to the Nortel Networking forum. Just for clarity though. Once the 9608 switches VLANs it goes as expected. It's when it is waiting to switch VLANs that it drags on.
