Master Racker - I used Coxy03's solution
Dwalin - I agree, but educating them is an ongoing battle, this is quite an easy one compared to some of the call flows they need producing.
Many thanks for this - worked like a dream.
Dwalin - would love to have given it back to the business to solve but it would have then involved several days of whinging and moaning about them not getting what they want
A business unit has a vector which they want to route to 2 stations with them both ringing at the same time.
Both these stations are already using there coverage paths for voicemail.
Any ideas on the best way to do this?
They also want the calls to go to a group Voicemail box if not answered...
I've been told by a customer that they want CM 6, how they found out about it i don't know
Does anyone have any details on what it will give them new and when it is to be expected
I'm currently using Cm 2.X
When I create a vector I want to have an option for if th customer presses * to replay the menu. However when I put the step in the vector in won't allow me to save it.
Any ideas?
This is a strange one and I don't want to do it, however have been asked the question and the customer thinks it's a good idea.
The customers wants to be able to delete an Active Directory account, this in turn will delete the Station, agent, Vm box etc from within the Avaya environment.
Is...
thanks to everyone for there help on this.
VR Tables do exactly what I need, going to try and do something funky with vector variables to allow this to be altered remotely or by none technical staff.
I'll let you know how I go
I'm trying to do some DR work for an insurance company, they want to be able to look at the callers number and route calls according to area codes.
They need to be able to activate this remotely.
The idea is if an area has an emergency they can priorities these calls.
Any ideas or is anyone...
I'm currently using EC500 on CM2.X
However....
It works fine getting calls to my mobile - however the number of the calling party is showing up as the the number associated with the trunk calling me, and not the number of the actual person who is calling my DDI.
Is there any way around this
I have some users who want to have the "leave a message after the tone or press 0 to speak to an operator" Instead of routing this call to the attendant they want it going to a hunt group or skill. Is this possible and if so how would i go about getting it done
I am testing IP agent 6 on Citrix - I can log the station on and make and recieve calls without an issue.
When I try to log an agent on, I am just getting an engaged tone. I've been through the docs and don't seem to be able to find anything.
Has anyone else experienced this, or are there any...
I am using greeting with IP agent but am having issues with greetings cutting off half way through, This is happening mainly on transfered calls but am waiting for clarification on this.
Has anyone heared of anything similar happening
Is it possible using IP Agent 6 to have busy reason Labels from the Cm rather than configured on each PC. I've tried using Abrv-dials and labelling these, but that isn't work either
I have traied this but what I want is for the labels on the agents phones / or ip agent to reflect the name. Other than manually relabeling is there another way of doing this
I need to set aux work codes up to show the name of the code.
I have set them up as abrv-dials in the system. I've tried using the FAC code but it just doesn't seem to put them into the state they requested, they just stay in ready.
Any ideas or is there another way to do this
Thanks for all of your help on this,
Ended up doing a full system reset (by accident) and it looks like a couple of clans are not accepting over 150ish phones to register to them.
Dropped another couple of CLANs in and it all seems to be working, for now
rejackson
They are all set to DHCP, some phones are up and working and then suddenly de-register, but it doesn't appear to be all of the phones on a specific clan.
We moved a port network to a new site last weekend. This involved all new IP addresses. The system came up without an issues.
However (there is always one).. We have some phones which aren't reregistering, they boot allow you to logon with the station number and then just sit there, if you...
