I have multiple number transferring to external number. I have just 1 DNIT transferring to an external number, but the transfer has alot of static. If I call the external number directly, there is no static, it is only the call handled transferred by the switch. I opened a ticket with the...
Is there a way to see how the DIDs are being passed from the PRI to the 4000 switch? I tried ADD-DNIT:DNI,0068,DRTD,0,"PRIVATE LINE ",NO,3333; And got message: F08: CANNOT USE INTERNAL ROUTING DIRECTORY NUMBER INTRTDN=0068 -
IT MUST FIRST BE ASSOCIATED WITH DIGIT ANALYSIS RESULT...
LOL...LoPath...you hit it. Sounds like you are right like they dont want to do it or dont know. I will speak to Verizon and see if we can forward them to DIDs we have free right now
So...I ran a REGEN-DNIT:DNI; and here is the last line:
ADD-DNIT:DNI,3717,DRTD,0,"PRIVATE LINE ",
NO,3718;
the 3717 is the last four digits of the DID number and 3718 is the internal extension. Does that mean when I port the 10 number I can just set up the same...
Hi LoPath -- I tried reach out to ConverageOne who we have support with. Their engineer told me to have the telco forward the 10 ported numbers to 10 existing DID numbers because 7 out of the 10 numbers, the last 4 digits start with 0. I dont know if she is correct or not but I have meeting...
Hi All,
Currently we have 40 DID numbers that our 4000 Switch passes the last four digits. All 40 of the number being with the same area code, exchange, and the last 4 digits are unique. I would like to port into our PRI 10 new telephone numbers and point them to 10 internal extensions. The...
Thank you for the response. How do I know if the system is using hotdesking? And I am assuming that hotdesking means that if it was programed for ext 115 and then sign off and back on as ext 145, then after a reboot it will return to 115?
I am more familiar with the Unify systems that we use...
HI this morning at a remote location, no one was able to make or receive calls. Calling in the telephone would play the message (greetings) but you could not get to an internal extension. I rebooted the switch and now everything is working. But, when people at the location moved office...
each agent will have to forward to an external number - would changing this mess up the queue that is in place. This is only temporary because our company may shutdown due to the virus.
It they can only for the DNIT to one telephone number. They are checking to see if it can be changed within...
I have a ticket opened with UNIFY - I have been waiting all day.
I was wondering if anyone could guide me how to forward an ACD calls externally. I tried using Assistant to forward all external but the agent still gets the call on her line.
HI, I see that we already have some stations in the 8000 range, I would like to either delete or move them -

Hi all,
Our CIO would like us to change the outbound access code from 9 to 8; We currently hit 9 to access an outside line. What I would like to do is mirror the setting/setup of access code 9; but use 8. Once I verify everything is working, deactivate access code 9 (not delete). I saw...
hello all,
i have a hipath 4000 v5 that I have contacted Unify to configure for sip trunks as a test. I followed the sample in the PDf found here:

Donb01,
Thanks for the input. I do understand that the subject is miss leading, but the goal was to move off all the IP configured phones to TDM (old school) so the STMI card could be used as the test. I do understand that the IP phones can not be used as TDM phones.
Thanks! The SMTI card will have a public IP. UNIFY decided to send me a routing document. I am currently in process of moving the IP phones fromto TDM.
I will then deal with the reconfiguting the card. Now back to the document, I asked them to create a special code to access the SIP...
I will be on a DMZ. I was wondering the impression that the STMI4 card had to have all the phones removed from it in-order to conduct a SIP testing with keeping all existing configuration.
The goal of this is to test SIP with a local carrier (cost savings). We currently have 3 PRIs to handle...
