You need to create a newdata folder on the terminal and the Iberdir in the environment. When you save it the file will be in newdata on the terminal, copy it to newdata & data on the server.

Hi Robert,
Hi Robert,
You want to try this http://www.opennet.com.cy/aloha_addon.htm
Email me directly for an evaluation version.

See example below:
For jobcode 4 & 5 it will print nothing.
[Default]
<FILL(=)>
<VAL(1:DOB)>
<FILL(=)>
<VAL(1:LASTNAME)>, <VAL(1:NICKNAME)>
<VAL(1:JOBCODENAME)> (<VAL(1:JOBCODEID)>)
<FILL(=)>
<Center> Guests and Checks
Number of Guests: <RIGHT> <VAL(4:#GUESTS)>
Number of Checks: <RIGHT>...
Make a custom checkout by Jobcode and for certain jobcodes leave it empty to not print the checkout. This works, we do it all the time.
We Service What We Sell!!
In store settings printing select Use Custom Checkout.
Create a file checkout.cfg in \Aloha\Data\
Leave the checkout.cfg file empty.
At the EOD it will not print the checkout anymore.

I have a couple of table turn reports written for Aloha.
What is a daily system job report?
Send me an email and I will send you the table turn reports.

With IP printers you need to have the windows drivers on a PC or Terminal anyway if that one goes down you don't have any redundancy. I prefer a Print server PC or Ethernet serial ports (this box can be hooked up to the network and you can see them as local serial ports).
To force the P-Mix report to always use the current configuration data, edit the RPT.INI in the NEWDATA folder, add the PmixData variable to the [Ibertech] section, and assign it a value of TRUE (for example, PmixData=TRUE). Refresh the system.
This way it will work historical

No, configure the PC the same way as a terminal.
Add a loop batchfile in the startup like this:
:START
IF EXIST %iberdir%\TMP\EXITING DEL %iberdir%\TMP\EXITING
START /WAIT %iberdir%\BIN\IBER.EXE
WAIT.EXE 10
GOTO START
If you refresh the system Iber will restart without rebooting the PC.
Richard.
Yes These are big hotels (30+ Terminals) we dedicate one PC only for the kitchen printers. They have up to 16 kitchen printers. This gives them the Flexibility to move terminals around. Also we are using Ethernet serial port from Equinox.
Richard.
Done it a lot of times. We rename the server to TERM99 configure it in Aloha Manager as an interface server (no license) and assign the printers to term99.
In large sites we even use a seperate pc with an equinox card as a "interface server"
Thats why I created a custom reporting module for aloha.
When your running aloha not on a SQL database and want to create reports for a range of data. Also you can run historical reports compared with last year data (Pmix, Sales etc.) and graphical reports.
