I'm sure there's a simple answer, but I need assistance.
I have a 4620 IP phone. It has appearances of three other lines besides my own extension. I was testing to see if I could Call Forward one of the other extension line appearances to an outside phone number from my phone. This put my...
We are using an Avaya system with 4620SW IP phones. If someone call forwards their phone to a cell phone with a long distance area code, do incoming calls that forward to that long distance number get billed as a long distance call, as if the extension receiving the call is dialing out to that...
texeric - I was not part of the engineering of the set-up, but I passed your response along to those who were. They're telling me that all you mentioned was taken care of - MM, AD and Exchange 2010 were all set up to work with MM, we do have a CAS array and load balancer. They have tried...
I'm sorry I don't have all the technical specs on this, but in general, has anyone had an issue with Modular Messaging working with Exchange 2010? We had a mixed environment while we were transitioning and mailboxes still on Exchange 2007 were fine, but anyone moved over to Exchange 2010...
Figured it out! If a call rings on a phone but on a line appearance other than the primary line, the Missed Call Log will show the receiver icon with a "=". The details then show which line appearance the missed call was ringing on.
We have a 9620 that is showing an unfamiliar icon in the Missed Call Log. Instead of the receiver with an "X" by it, it just shows a receiver with an = sign and then a name. What does this symbol mean in the Missed Call Log? Most of the user's calls appear with typical "x" but he has a few...
We have an Ayava system using 4620SW IP phones. An executive wants to know if there is a way to have a bridged appearance of one person's line, but only have it show when someone within a particular department is calling that line. He doesn't want to see ALL calls that come into that line -...
I walked into a set-up that has no documentation. There was something set up for our company's Call-Out-Sick line where employees would call into x1111 and that message would stay on the x1111 voice mail but also send copies to the voice mail of x2222 and x3333. So the same message left on...
We have a user whose 4620 phone has poor sound quality in general and has issues with calls cutting in and out. We have replaced the set, all cords and even had the office rewired to the switch, but the issue remains. This is the only phone in the entire company having this issue. Any ideas...
I am reusing some 2410 sets and don't know how to clear the previous extension from the programming. There doesn't seem to be a log off feature so that I can log in the new location's extension.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Is there a way to get a clean, text print-out from the "list station" pages? Whenever I do the system save to PDF, the columns are skewed and hard to read.
Any help is appreciated - thanks!
Oh, wait - do you mean I have to type it in next to the extension in the actual programming? So this is not a function a user can do from the phone set itself?
Thanks. Can you please tell me where exactly? I'm brand new to this Avaya system. "Customizable Labels" is already marked "Y" on her programming but we can't get the line appearances on the expansion module renamed to show names instead of extension numbers.
