I think what the OP is trying to do is convert Analogue trunks at a different location to Sip trunks and connect them via the internet (or intranet) to the 9100 (the ATA is FXO not FXS). Now I don't think this is possible but I am happy to be proved wrong!
Wow, you guys got shafted! we get VM to Email and 4 Sip trunk licenses as standard on SL2100! At the end of the day, the Asterisk solution introduces additional potential points of failure that I couldn't justify to a customer. That being said, I used to work for NEC when Asterisk first came out...
So NEC are continuing support just ceasing the supply of new product, didn't you get the memo? and you need hardware for voicemail to email since when?
It seems it's different for us in OZ as VM to email is a free inclusion, are you sure it isn't for you? With respect, I think you are...
But how does this add features to the NEC system?
Edited to ask, If you use the Asterisk system for VM, how do you light the message waiting light on the NEC? and that is just one example!
Seems like a heck of a lot of trouble and the introduction of more potential points of failure just to save a small license fee. Add to that the fact that the call detail recording, if done on the asterisk, won't have extension details from the 2100, it seems to be a half baked solution. Also...
The license has probably expired! it is a one shot license for 30 days but once used, that is it! Use the 10 day license instead! 90-37 is only available from handset programming...

Actualy @CoralTech it may have been a complicating factor in that they wanted to be able to take their desk phones home as and when they felt the need so they had to be able to turn the nat traversal on or off as needed. maybe the differing ports were for on premises? However the fault I had...
They don't close shop at the end of the year, They cease sales of hardware! Support will be available till 2030 and they will be selling cloud based systems ongoing which they may well offer a migration path to.
on a different topic, I just (literally) found I can change the text color from the...
I've also never had an SL lose it's licenses even when I remove the CPU memory battery to replace it! I would be speaking to TAC re a possible faulty CPU.
@CoralTech Sorry but been there done this and each phone needed different ports and if you had 2 on the same port, at least one wouldn't work! Checked and confirmed with TAC!
Edited to add, I know this because after install I had a fault with no speech on one phone. Changed it's ports and hey...
