samba 2.2.3, winbind and w2k
we have running samba 2.2.3 together with winbind getting user information from our nt4 PDC. It works great so I have same fear to migrate our nt4 PDC to windows 2000 and active directory. has anyone expirience with samba 2.2.3 making its authentification by winbind and windows 2000 server with...- miwi

w2k server can't browse different domain
Thanks for your answer Glen, yes I am running DNS but it runs on a linux box. the w2k-server knows the nameserver. I don't run WINS or DHCP - i don't like them that much :-) i rather do it by myself, this way I "normaly" :-) know what happens. as far as i have understood hosts and...- miwi
