Firewire card on Windows 98
I have checked the upgrade to windows 98 SE and all seems okay. The firewire card does not show up anywhere. I tried adding it as new hardware but still no show. The info that came with the card said it could use the standard win98 drivers.- trevm

PC hangs when using dialup connection
Have you checked out the IRQ the modem is using. Is it sharing an IRQ address with another device such as the graphics card. If it is sharing then it may be worth trying to move it to another IRQ- trevm

Firewire card on Windows 98
I am having problems with windows 98 and 98SE detecting my firewire card which should be Plug n Play. I have tried the card in different PCI slots. I have upgraded from 98 to 98SE and retried again. I tried the card in a friends PC which had Windows 98 and was detected okay. I am running out of...- trevm
