sorry, you've lost me ;-) The user authenticates by means of a Pop-Up authentication box. On our Windows 2000 systems (using IE6 sp1), this pop-up provides a "save password" checkbox. I'm pretty sure I've also seen this functionality on Windows XP maxchines. The build in question however...
