    XP Runs Great, then freezes...

    I am having the same problem, Have reformated c:/ and reloaded XP Pro and SP1 and original BIOS and drivers from the CD. Still crashed. Downloaded new nVidia drivers now plays DVD but has interference. Can't play .avi. WHen attmpting to play avi files the system tries to download updated codec...
