Hmm, maybe I know less than I think, but I've looked a lot at Version Cue, and it appears to only help organize files. It does tell you if someone else has the same document open, but it doesn't appear to allow to users to change a document simultaneously.- UniTechi

Testing for sound input?
That is an option. I AM already using the parallel port for some other functions, and I have some extra input pins. The mic just connects to the standard microphone input. If there's no good way of doing this with the audio input, I do have the ability and knowledge to interface it digitally...- UniTechi
