Howdy - has anyone seen a MS knowledge base article on changing the ip address on domain controllers in a multi-site environment? We have to change our ip addresses on our 2 dc's at this location in order to get in line w/ corporate's vlan - I have heard two differing views - just change the ip...
Hold the phone folks - someone from our corporate av team found the solution - you have to run the Symantec Antivirus install from setup on the cd under the SAV folder - go figure - no where in the install manuals did I see that one - Symantec rocks!!!

Joamon - tried that but when it installs it puts the server in it's own server group and won't let us move it to the existing group - Winvh no - it's not 64bit just standard.
We tried the remote install via the System console - we got an error message in the app log under msinstaller stating that the client could not be installed on server class system - any suggestions?
Issue - we have an existing SAV 10.0 server group and want to install SAV on some new win2k3 servers but each time we install it - it puts the server into it's own server group - we need to add these new servers into an existing SAV server group but have not found anything on the Symantec...
Strange issue - have user who needs to go to other users' desktops and map to a share that exists on a win2k3 server (no sp1) using the "connect using a different user name" on winxp workstations - kicks back an error "network folder is currently mapped using a different username and password"...
