took the drive out, it has a linux partition on it and on the back of the BCM box it has sticker of 4.0 on it. Is there a way to find out the release number from the backup files ? Thanks in advance ?

Cant find any vendors where I live, if I take the hard drive out and plug it into an external case and if it still works and get refinished by windows can I take an image of that and image a new hard drive and plug it back into the BBM box. Is that worth a try. I don't know what version of BBM...
