The source is phone positions at a 911 call center. We are tapping from a 66 block cross-connected to AT&T's demarc also a 66 block. Recording both trunk and the position and when the dropout happens it happens on both calls.
I am having problems with a 130 foot 25 pair amphenol cable carrying analog audio to a NiceCallFocus3 voice recorder. The audio seems very low on playback of calls. AGC (automatic gain control) is enabled on the recorder so the volume at the beginning of the call is very low then "ramps" up...
I'm reloading a NCFIII from scratch. The OS is XP. After I load the CLS I reboot and get "NiceLog Driver is not initialized. Can't start system." after about 5 minutes. I check the device manager and the NATI and ALI boards have exclamation points next to them. Any ideas?
