THATS the one. Thanks very much for that!
I inserted the subreport into the main report then copied it down twice and changed the source so while it LOOKED like I had done it correctly the subreports where actually called child5 and child6 not report 102 pt1 and subreport 102 pt2. It now works...
Hmmmm, ok I tried
=IIf([Report 102 Pt1].Report.HasData,[Report 102 Pt1].Report.SubTot,0)+IIf([Report 102 Pt2].Report.HasData,[Report 102 Pt2].Report.SubTot,0)
below Report 102 pt2 in the main report and got the #Name? error...
I have three sub reports with their total in their report footer. The first sub-report contains the initial costs of the project, the second sub-report has definite additional costs and the third sub-report has possible additions. What I am trying to do is add the first and second totals to give...
Hi
I have a report for which I want some running totals so I created 3 sub reports with their own running totals and put them all on a report. This works fine but I want to also have a total of the first 2 sub report totals. I tried to use the expression builder and it seemed to work but when I...
Hi
I have a query that has amounts in two columns. What I am trying to do is add a 3rd column which shows the total. However, the function only works if BOTH of the columns have a value. If only one column has a value the total column returns a null......
I am using
Total...

Just need to force the Report Footer onto the last page now instead of creating a page of its own as I have the grand total on it.
? I can only see "Keep together" and "Repeat Section" both of which I have used. There is also "New Row or Column" and "Force New Page" but I think that would create far too many pages.
Thanks. I have keep together on the header AND the detail and still get this effect. I think I may have to just put up with it unless I'm prepared to use the Force New Page. The problem there would be a new page for every single heading! I will leave it as is but use the Repeat Sectio so at...
When creating reports in Access is there a way that I can force the header onto the next page if there is no space for detail on the current one (possibly repeating the header if the detail covers more than one page)?
I sometimes get to the bottom of a page and get the next header and then...
Hi
Yeah that was my first try, I just get #Error. So I copied the query and deleted all but the meeting column and used Max instead of Group By, changed it to a Sum query and tried calling THAT .. same result.

Hi,
I have a report, based on a query, which displays the minutes of meetings and which meeting those minutes apply to (number). What I would like to do is display number of the latest meeting in a field in the heading(i.e. the maximum value in the meetings number field). The idea is to show...
