    It looks as thought it'll only allow me to use the feature codes on a key which is programmable (speed-dial, programmed internal extension keys, etc). When I try all of the feature codes and press by empty line button, it just picks up the line.

    Sorry kacomi07 - I don't understand. When I try Feature*1, it asks me to press a button. When I select the 'Line' button I want, it just picks up the line (which has no dial tone)....

    Thanks for your reply. Yes I have a vendor, but they want to charge me a service visit just to explain how to do it. And I am looking to add a line which has a dial tone (one I can dial out from). Thank you.

    Yes beacuse I programmed the button to be DND, and when I press it, it comes up "Do not Disturb" and when I press it again, it comes up "Allow Calls"..

    Well my phone is a the main phone for the whole office. When I turn my phone onto DND, I hear a sound.. whether you want to call it a chime or a beep, there is a sound. Is there any way to turn that sound off, or turn the volume of it down?
