Just to let you know, I just installed SP1 on my Vista business machine. Everything went very well. I installed it under windows update. It went in clean and there are no problems - a happy camper...
I have a Plexwriter 12/10/32A CD-RW drive running under XP Pro, that has been working until recently. Now the system shows it as a recordable device until you insert a burnable cd-r. Then the system shows it as a cd-rom. ake the disc out and it changes back to a CD-RW device.
Has anyone used the new Windows XP PRO 64 bit edition? I am considering changing to it, but am curious as to the problems that I'd run into. I know that I will have some problems with some of my peripherals and 64 bit drivers for them. Any advise would be great. Thanks

Thanks bcastner, tried that, guess what, still the same, I guess at this point, what is the easiest way to eliminate all of the above and start from scratch( other than complete reinstall).
Thanks bcastner, tried that, rebooted, uninstalled it in internet options, reinstalled it under network options, again nothing. No file is created in that folder nothing is located on the task bar. But the connection works.
Th only place that it shows up now is in the internet options in the control panel, nothing under network options, even though I created the account through there using the create a new connection feature.
