    Thanks, I saw those settings in the Avaya guide for v5.0, but it was not available on the version (3.0) currently installed at this location. GUess I'll have to see if this system has a UM/Desktop keycode. Thanks, I'll post back when I have a chance to look at the system again.

    Thanks curlycord, mesasge forwarding was a rule I tried but it would not work, this is a standalone system, not connected to a server/exchange.     Have a BCM50 version 3.0, trying to set up unified messaging to email an external GMAIL account. could only get internal IMAP to work with an outlook 2007 client from where we were hoping to send the message to the external account, however it looks like outlook rules don't want to play nice...
