    Windows Explorer mapped drive letters..

    I guess I should have said it is a w2k workstation connecting to Novell network drives. The drive paths are long and although the drive letter is shown in Explorer it is right at the end of the mapping. Therefore when users are trying to open documents within word/excel and using the open drop...

    Thanks for that!! That would work - but the users tend not to look up there & want to see the letters in the drop down menu.. Is there any way that the waythe mapped drives are displayed be changed? ie with the letter first?

    Pager Gatway

    Anyone know where I can get the software for the pager gateway? I know Novell have discontinued support etc.. but would like to use the txt message side.. any ideas or prehaps an alternative that works with Groupwise? (on Groupwise 6). Thanks J

    crazy but true.. I have been asked by one of the users if it is possible to put the drive letter infront of the mapping rather than at the end. This is because when they try to open a document / spreadsheet with Office they cannot see the drive letter only the path ( as it is quite long)...
