Mitel purchased InterTel a couple of years ago, but as kwbMitel already replied, the 5224 is a MITEL IP set on the MITEL 200ICP. System models are MX, CX, or CXI.
Obviously, the calls are being made to a D.I.D. number if the call rings directly to security, correct? I'm not a programmer but why can't you change DID and extension numbers for security and leave ext 248 as a psuedo/phantom extension with no forwarding / voice mail coverage? Won't stop...
