My qmail seems to be working fine. I can receive emails locally and remotely, my password and all that work fine. I can send items locally but only to domains residing on my server (Other virtual domains). I can't send any messages remotely, IE (outlook, eudora...
It appears that my qmail-send program keeps dying. Runs good as long as there is no activity on the qmail program, but as soon as anything is executed it dies on me.
Got permission problem fixed, got the mail to deliver properly, can retrieve messages remotely. However I can't send messages remotely. I am feeling pretty good about qmail but need to get this last peice fixed!

I had a bad entry in .qmail file.
I am no longer having my messaged returned, but now it isn't being delivered to the proper user. Not being delivered at all.

I had no issues and all my services are running however I now get this obscure message.
I have searched the entire internet for this patircular error but my search turned up fruiless.
Again here is my error in my /var/log/qmail/smtpd/current

I got it to work.
I took everything out and started from scratch.
I used the following guide to install it. It works great. Follow all the steps and you should be up and running with very little difficulty!

I had posted something before that I couldn't send remote mail.
I decided the qmail installation wasn't done properly so I removed qmail and started over.
I followed all the directions and now this is the error I get.
I am sure it is something stupid but here is what I get...
You know what, Don't worry about anything further, I am going to go with another solution, this is way too much trouble.
Every step of the way has been a problem. I will just go with what I know.

Okay don't have lsof on my system so I am going to get it installed. Not any luck yet but should have it done soon. If there is another command on FreeBsd that I can check that let me know.
