thank you donnadee after i sent this in i went back to the particular machine and did additional tests and found that the driver probably needs to updated i could change default printers and the print and view would work i also found the same problem on three other machines back to work again...- tecsambol

opening file in excel ok when trying to print or print preview illegal operation occurs exact error is "excel caused an exception 10h in module excel.exe at 0167:30048bc5" file can be printed and previewed on other machines any thoughts on a fix already removed then reinstalled...- tecsambol
