Where's My Menu Bar?
Excellent! I got it back, restoring the defaults wasn't much of a problem as I only needed to restore my object manager, tranformation and shaping dockers. I got my menu bar back so that's great. Thanks a bunch, Javabear!- AbsAtWork

complete transparent look
Not sure exactly what you're looking for, but if you want to separate the text from the background what yoy can do is draw a contour around the text, separate it from the text then fill it in with white, this will give you the same effect as a pen outline but allows more flexibility.
