I have tried the c switch - I did it from the command prompt ..pdxwin32/c (I could not make -c work from the run dialogue, must have the syntax wrong). It makes no difference, except that the desktop opens clear.
Hidden files etc are not turned off.
I have 2 licensed CDs with this software...
Immediately after startup of Pdx 11 under XP Pro (newly installed), error reporting dialogue box appears ("pdx encountered problem, has to close etc"). If this dialogue box is left alone, pdx works normally, but close this dialogue and the whole thing is shut down. Turning off error reporting...
Paradox 10 under XP pro (+SP2) loads, expert appears, then MS error report, then automatic shut down. The computer is on a peer to peer network, my daughters XP home computer runs Paradox 10 fine.
I've tried deleting all .net and .lck files, uninstalling Pdox 7 and 8 and removing all pdox...
