The PRI circuit is a SIP to PRI. The way they build the adtran is their "Standard" setup so they wouldn't make changes with out a few days of complaining. I've had SIP on PRI with other phone systems and never ran into this much trouble. We are at the point that we will be replacing the system...
After fighting with Wow for a few days, I got them to stamp all outbound calls with our primary DID to fix the issues. It's a temporary fix until I replace this aging phone system.
Just got off the phone with wow and they told me they can not change the numbers at the adtran. The bcm is pushing the original callers ANI instead of our BTN. I spoke with someone else quickly about this issue (waiting on a callback) and he stated this could be changed on my end under target...
CurlyCord - It's the number I'm attempting to forward to.
Our main number is in the OLI field for each set and I added the 7 digit number to our business name field after reading one of your previous posts in this thread.
I really feel like what I'm missing here is a simple setting to prevent the ani from being passed back to our adtran. I have a feeling that once it's figured out it's going to be one of those face palm moments....
I've spoke with the new PRI provider multiple times. According to them when we do debug on the adtran, the BCM is sending the wrong info to the adtran. It is sending the callers ANI information to the Adtran instead of our number. The Adtran then blocks the call thinking it's spoofing a call. I...
FirebirdScrambler - Dump completed, but it saved as HTML. I can save it into excel and convert the tables, but I have attached the html dump to this post. http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=24d17406-d608-4314-a7c1-ce6f841def20&file=BCM.htm
FirebirdScrambler - I'm a complete newbie to the BCM but from what I can tell I see R300 version 63-1. The phone system has not been updated since 2009.
As far as routing is concerned, I have no idea as all the dial plans and routes were built long before I came here and I'm nit 100% sure what...
So I did some some debugging with Wow. What they see on the Adtran is the originating caller ANI is being passed to the adtran instead of our main BTN and also we are only passing 7 digits instead of 10. 10 digits were entered in as the forwarding number, but the BCM is only pushing the first 7...
I checked with out provider (wide open west) and they stated all lines outbound are showing as our main number. I have nothing listed in Business name and if I attempt to enter a phone number, it only allows 7 digits.
BCM monitor snippet attached.
The forward worked before moving to WoW and...
If thats the case, then I'm not sure why forwarding is not working. OLI for the reception line is set to my main number on our PRI. I can see the call hit the manager then instantly its gone. per my previous post BCM monitor lights up for a split second in blue then shows the number I'm...
the BCM is the one passing both cid from originating call and oli of my outbound line. I need to pass oli only. I want to block the originating callers CID to the adtran.
so like this outside call hits bcm reception line. Reception line forwards call back out of bcm to a different phone...
OLI on that line is already our main number. The issue I am having is it appears the BCM is attempting to pass both my oli and the originating cid instead of just the oli I want. The adtran will not allow both numbers to be passed and will auto block anything that doesn't exist on our pri. There...
BCM monitor lights up for a split second in blue then shows the number I'm attempting to forward to in the name and number section. The user says L95 - ?
Allow redirect is on. This feature worked on our old T1, but because we are on PRI now, the BCM is passing both our DID and the external callers caller ID. I need to only pass our DID main line from the BCM to the Adtran. Everything else should be configured correctly as the only thing that has...
