Thanks...I'll try the snapfiles fix. As to ZoneAlarm, yes I used to use it, but removed it last year. I use WINXP Manager to clean things up periodically and would have thought the Registry Wizard would have caught any remnants of ZoneAlarm. Not long after XP Pro Service Pack 3 upgrade, I can't connect to certain websites, mainly Google, Ebay, & Answers.com. Mysteriously, I can connect to others...bank acct, Yahoo.com, and so forth.
