Retrying Channels.
I have a problem with Channels that remain in a retry state. On the NT side I have a Sender channel which connects to OS/390 where there is a Requester channel. Incorrect Memory reported by NT on Compaq Proliant ML370
This problem has been resolved by removing the /MEM:256 from the BOOT.INI file which was placed by NT Ent. Edition when Compaq SmartStart is used to install. SP3 should have removed it but I only applied 4 and above which does not cater for removal. Thanks- kharry

Incorrect Memory reported by NT on Compaq Proliant ML370
I have two Compaq ML370 Proliant servers installed with 1 GIG of ram each but NT only reports 261 MB on the General tab under the System Properties icon as well as in the Task Manager. Compaq Insight Manager reports 1 GIG as well.It has NT4.0 with Service Pack 4 and was loaded with SmartStart...- kharry
