With the only data that is abnormal being the -50 C reading through the diagnostic software....I'll try to upgrade the CPU. I'll let you all know what happens next.

Could someone explain the -50C temp I am seeing through SpeedFan? That's odd....but i may have overlooked something.

No not in excell either, I tried to use the detect and repair and it blew away my profile and I had to reinstall MS Office...I haven't tried it again but I was wondering what caused MS Word to prompt for what it did...I guess the registry got corrupt somehow?
I looked and MS Outlook is setup as default for mail Outlook runs great in itself with the exception of my other post but only gets hairy when trying to send a document as an attachment using the method previously described out of a MS Office application.
I am trying to send emails to several users through the New Message>To>Select names option. My problems lies when scrolling down to view and select other reciepients using the scroll down arrows in the window. It locks up and I get an exception error...don't have the error number on me right now...

After all the good suggestions I decided to reformat the hard drive and select not to enable large disk support and BAM! I guess with the hard drive so close to the limit listed in fdisk my only option was FAT 16.
