I have switched to INDCS from Pagemaker (Mac). In pagemaker, it is easy to select an object and make it a non-printing element. So far I can't find a way to do this in IND. Anyone know how? Thanks.

Here's what I finally came up with to fix this problem. (posted June 10) I dont really know why it worked. First I discovered the problem only occurred in PM 7. I f I saved a copy of the problem file in 6.5 and used 6.5 to open that file, no beeps. I considered this an emergency fix only...
