Problem With XP Home Connecting to NW 5.1 Server
Novell say they don't support Windows XP Home but I installed client by myself on two notebook Toshiba with XP Home installed. There were no any problems. Are you able to install client on workstation completely? Wich of protocols do you use for connection to NW server? TCP/IP or IPX/SPX...- solayris

Sorry for stupid questions. Do you have administrator rights on workstation? Does your NIC work properly? Do remove all NW client installations from workstation and try to get access to MS network. If it doesn't work remove NIC object from Neighborhood properties and restart your comp. After...- solayris

Firstly, you should create NDPS printer object in the tree even assigning any printer driver to the object. Then using nwadmin utillity add correct driver by NDPS Broker. Connect your printer to workstation LPT port, log on to the NW server. Go to SYS:PUBLIC\WIN95 and lounch the nwprint.exe...- solayris

My boss use notebook with Windows XP Home Ed and NW client 4.83SP2. Evrything works without any problem. I think you should check your network connection, types of IPX/SPX frames (they should be the same on server and workstation ) or TCP/IP settings.- solayris
