eMachines T3265 - can't change memory speed
Thanks Ski: Do you know if any problems could emerge by using DDR PC3200 in the system running at only 333Mhz? Seems to me it should work fine. I may have to accept a performance hit with the memory running in asynchronous mode with the processor. Neither eMachines nor FIC have any BIOS...- Rewired

eMachines T3265 - can't change memory speed
Last year I purchased an eMachines T3265. It has an Athlon XP 3200+ with a 400Mhz FSB. The motherboard is an FIC AU31 with an nForce2 chipset. Given this configuration I assumed the memory was DDR 400 (PC3200). I purchased 1 GB (2x512MB) of PC3200 memory from NewEgg opened the case to install it...- Rewired

Two Hard drives - Scandisk fails both
Syar2003 and wolluf: Thanks for the responses. I don't think it is the IDE cable or IDE connector as I have had the same behavior running from the on-board IDE 1 channel as well as the IDE 1 channel on a Promise Ultra 100TX2 controller card. Two Hard drives - Scandisk fails both
