Compaq BIOS
My machine is a Presario 5724. The system ROM date is 09/08/99 and the System ROM Family is 686c2. For those who might misunderstand my question, my bios is intact and functional. Promise ATA 66
On my system the 13gb drive is set up as master and the 40gb as slave. I actually have them both set up as cable select. But I have tried it both ways: 13 set as master and 40 as slave.
