I have those services listed. I also see my inetd.conf file reads ftp stream tcp tcpv6 nowait root /usr/sbin/in.ftpd in.ftpd should that be just tcp?

My server does not have a cd-rom. Should the box come with a OS cd because I did not get one? If not is there any place I can get one? Once I have one how would I get the files to the server.

I just loaded my first unix server. Sun fire v120. After the intial set up I was able to log in using the default root password. I rebooted the unit after installing IPlanet. Now the default password does not work. What is the recovery procedure.
