There are a lot of 3rd party software to manage directory quotas for Windows machines but is there anything for Solaris 8?? Running a file server and want to limit the amount of space allocated for each directory.

Thanks for the responses. I was trying to figure out what happened to the server and realised that this server has problems with space. Apparently the system partition (where the profiles were stored) was TOTALLY FULL!

When I configure Overwrite Protection to NONE on my media set, I am able to backup my data at respectable speeds (200MB/min on DLT). However when I change Overwrite Protection to a figure other than NONE, my backup speeds drop to 10MB/min.
