    i tried using SAM but i can't configure the network printer as i was prompted to "The HP JetDirect printer software is not installed..." is there any way i can configure my HPL8000N as my network printer? thanks again in advance...

    Print job won't clear out.

    try to stop/cancel the print jobs, then re-start it. make sure the printer is turned on. you have to specify which queue you want to cancel a print job.
