I believe you must be on PRI for this to occur, then yes, the carrier should pass this info. But remember, this has to be end-to-end, i.e. - PRI on both ends and passing through.
Turns out it was a known issue, for later releases, but they had never seen it before in this release. Avaya techs now wrestling with it...we have done everything we could do.
Thanks all,

I am seeing the # after on a list trace station...line item stating:
outpulse done 011xxxxxxxxxxx#. I need to remove that # for the sonus switch. The docs say if I am using signaling type "mf" then I can add a # to the inserted digits on the route pattern, haven't tried it yet. Not sure what...
Having trouble removing a "#" from the outpulse to the c/o for international phone numbers. Was able to do so by using route pattern, deleting all the digits, then re-inserting it. Connected to Sonus switch at the c/o which does not want to see the "#".
I have an IP Office 3.2(54), E-mails are not being generated and sent as they were before. Monitor shows the list as having entries, but never tries to send them. The configuration for this is simple, an IP address, port 25, and address that it comes from. Not much can go wrong...
Periodically, about once a week, the AA will not transfer calls...it says "please wait...." and then hangs. i am getting error events on the voicemail side, none showing on the CM side. CM3.1.2/S8400/IA770. The error looks like:
IP CA 0 ERR VOIP 1 AudioProcessor.cc:1
App: VP EventID...
Is it possible to dial in/VPN into an S87xx server, then telnet to the IPSI even though it may be on another subnet?...say like a private subnet. i.e. - you can use 127.11.11.1 to telnet to a G700 from an 8300, I wondered if there was a "special" IP for the IPSI? Have heard it could be done...
I have read some threads regarding adjusting the 46xx settings file for CM systems to address this issue, just wondering if the same would be true for IP Office. I believe it uses the same 46xx settings file for both...yes?
In addition, we did order a replacement, and the replacement had the same issue, so be wary of this course. We moved forward with the resolution presented in the PSN. Just FYI.
Have you done the switch integration programming for h.323 and qsig? If you have, make sure your process status shows up for messaging, and the voice system is started. I just spent 3 days working on the same issue, and the 8400 appears to be very particular about patching/install steps.
does anyone have a link to the documents that give step by step installation for S8400 w/ IA770? I saw some posts referring to such docs...but no luck so far.
