I'm seeing lots of NetBackup Device Manager event 2598 messages in my event log, too. They happen so frequently, though, and the log size was so small, that I couldn't identify when they started. Have you determined what's causing these events? Thanks, Jeremy

I'd just like a better way to troubleshoot hard/soft errors. When Backup Exec encounters errors, they're recorded in both the drive and media statistics. This makes it more difficult to pinpoint the real source of the problem.
