Can anyone tell me what difference there is in the output quality on the 8400 dp between Enhanced and Photographic ? And is there any difference in the amount of ink consumed ? To this naked eye, there is no discernible difference.

My highly reliable and very friendly supplier of generic inks for the Phaser 8400 no longer uses US Mail for delivery. This for me is a problem as courier delivery incurs high custom duties in the part of the world where I live.
Does anyone know of a supplier who still uses US Mail ?

There has been talk on this list that changing from generic to Xerox inks can cause problems. Personally, I use generic inks exclusively and I find that I get pale stripes that come and go for no apparent reason.
Guaranteewise, I think Xerox assumes responsibility for up to thirteen jets...

I have cleaned the wiper and the white release blade.
In the past, the problem has cleared itself up but only after a lot of wasted prints.
I often find that with the USB connection, one file can for for some reason stop the print list. When the list is restarted, the file doesn't get printed.
There's a usb driver update on the Xerox site but it is too old for Mac Os X 10. 4
