We think that the printer driver in question is for the HP Color Laser Jet 2600n. AFter removing this printer driver (not just uninstalling the printer). The problem seems to have been eliminated....Does anybody else have that driver installed?

Found a solution: When I am connected via ethernet cable to the Linksys wireless router my VPN connection goes through fine. When I go to wireless, I cannot establish the VPN connection UNTIL I disabled the Windows (XP PRO) firewall - then the connection went right through!
