We recently upgraded a 9.1 IP500 running vm pro on win7 to R12 running an IP500 with an app server on rocky linux.

CentOS is going EOL, that is why i am more prone to go with r12, also foreseeing an update in the future so might as well go directly to r12 and save the double upgrade headache.
Looking through the white paper of R12 i see the 5410 and 5420on the list so my guess is that they still work :)...

I know the "Official" answer, but its hard to convince someone to invest and change 30 phones (10k$) when you are upgrading to solve an unrelated issue.
More so when he likes his 5400's :D

I have a site that had two remote (NAT, +port forward) H323 phones working properly 9611g and 9608,
we moved and decided to upgrade the system to latest release,
the phones went through upgrading the firmware, registered to the ip office, can make and receive calls,
but nothing shows on...
Tried both patches, the one you have and the latest one sent by avaya, both stabalized the software, but both have an issue the F3 key (Transfer to voicemail) doesn't work, have you noticed if it works on yours ?

The user has full admin rights on the pc and there is no firewall... The thing that bugs me is the chinese/japanese characters where there should be a standard path for profiles...
I'll try it again your way, one other solution i though is starting the new profile from scratch after clean...
Anyone has problems savings profiles with this program, i have tried 9.1.4 and 9.1.3, and they both mopdify the registry in chinese for the reg key where the profile pfs should be !!!

Well if it worked before outside and in, i am guessing you have split dns with two fqdns, dns entrie on the inside should point to the new ip of the app server, your forwarded ports on the firewall should point to that new ip too, (5222,5269,8444,8069,8063,9943) i was missing the last two for...
Got ip filtering on the firewall, been working like that for ages with no hacking incidents whatsoever... :)

Happens intermitently but very often:
When a user has a new message his indicator lamp lights up, when he goes to visual voice it says new message(0)
User has to go in and press back, then the proper number and message appears and he can listen to...
