Hello
You cant do this with initiators ( as it's not a initiator )
You have to specify a field containing the values and place a I (dentifier on it) and create a component rule to verify it.
Ie
MID($,4,2)="j0"
Or whatever it becomes to identify the record ;)
You'll probably gonna run in to the situation
where one map keeps the file open while another tries to
write to it and will go into pending if its locked.
What you could do to is to create a run map
that writes to the file and then just call this from
the first map. this way you could stack up...
Hmm... two ip addresses i guess ?
just have to figure out who is tied to mercator
and then connect to the right port ( 2001 ?)
Hmm.... cant remember right away.. but think we
have a similar setup. Let me check and get back to you later.
As i can understand it should pick up all files...
have a few of thoose systems running myself without
any problems...
*.log should do the trick...
and delete on success....
if this dosnt work... there are something strange going on...
Might be that you'r locking the target file and therefore...
Ah.. sorry...
was mixing it up a bit!
Ok.. lets see .. first time around you dont do the
compare right ?
So ther might be a way depending on what you do with the data
you could use xxx[LAST]:output .. as this is constantly
filled with data .. and every record before the current one
will e the...
Hmm.. tricky!
Somewhere there have been a document stating time needed based map complexity.
Also it comes down to what kind of documents, specefikations and so on it exists....
Easiest is to give a statment like "IF requiered documentation and test data exists" .. as this part...
Hello
It should be possible to send the ATMLoop[LAST]:Input
as a reference to the functional map. So this way you should be able to use the values in this to compare with.
