I see conflicting information and I hope someone might have the answers. Can 2 seperate Avaya MM systems with MAS and MSS communicate (network) without the Avaya Message Network Server? Is this also true if the MM was setup using different Exchange systems? The next question is whether an Aria...
Working with 1XP, 1XC, Mtg Exch etc...loaded PDE and the logon never completes...Avaya documentation consistently only references that MSXML 4.0 is required and this is the sympton (no error msg etc)even though a message does show above system tray shows "cannot connect to oneX portal server"...
Would really appreciate the following information - what is the proper sequence to reboot the ipcc servers (cvp, xml, hds, roggers and finally pg's/ctios/cad).

Bingo - we thought if you had no add-ons, 0 was correct - if you had 1 add-on, you would enter 1 - but we were wrong - i changed the 1 to a 2 on BINGO there were the keys (need to know retrive but that fixed it!)
Thank You Big Time!
We had to upgrade from our OTM to TM. We have many "admin" phones which have the add-on modules for additional appearances. We have not been able view the add-on modules which also means we can not change the keys and dn's. This was reported thru our vendor to Nortel and we are still waiting for...
Has anyone gotten TM 3.0 or TM 3.1 to display the add on modules to the 2XXX or 390X phones. Since we have been unable to view the add on, we also can not change any of the keys using TM.
Vendor says MMAX 8.71 will not "fully" work with Succession 3.0 upgrade to our 81C. Anyone have an idea of exactly what will not work? Unfortunately we need to remain on MMAX 8.71 for a while.
Everyone was right on, except Cisco. The brand new unit had ver 1.21 which had a known problem. SW version 1.31 (came out Sept 2004) is suppose to fix the problem. We will find out tonight. From Cisco: Symptom:

Does anyone know what the "cost" should be to enable this feature bit? Anyone with recent experience? we have 5 systems with it set and approx 10 without.

Option 81C, Rls 25.30 using OTM. OTM is getting the CDR data via ip. Can CDR also be sent to a serial tty port (need to add a 2nd CDR box, don't ask please). Is this possible?
Forgot to ask, is there a character limitation to what can be sent - for example, dial 9,18005555555,,,,,5555555555(pin code),,,,1,,,,911# etc? How much delay is each comma?
Thanks
Need help with the following: need to truncate existing dialing string of our modem to page someone. I would like to know how the modem would be able to access the spree (and how to find the necessary spree) to speed dial (user?) a pre-programmed number on an Option 81C at 25.30.
Thanks
To allow this to work between our Nortel Meridian 1 and our Octel 350, the Nortel phones have to be provisioned with Secondary Forwarding Allowed. I would say the change required is on the PBX side.
