Outgoing external calls we do not hear the other end ringing - dial 9, the number and then get silence until they pick up or goes to voicemail.
MICS 7.0 with PRI
TIA
Thanks.
1st time was a car hit a transformer nearby - it fried 16 station ports on main cab and an 0x16 as well
2nd time was t'storm and a power outage for the entire block or more. It took out the power for the main cabinet but was a motherboard issue, replacing power supply did not fix...
Have had a 0 x 32 get fried twice in 19 months - figured it was a bad ground in the electrical wiring in that room but that was not the case.
Possible that the 25 pair cables going to the other building could have been the avenue to power surge(?) - I haven't worked on grounding and bonding...
9* meaning 9 Any - not sure why could not add a single 9 or a single any number other than 5.
So I removed the 9* dest codes and added 5 - that worked fine 5 and # to dial out. so changed Dest Code to 99 and it works fine.
Just can not enter a single 9 digit for dest code. Sooo, great that it...
removed the Dest Codes listed and added 9* (I was not able to just add 9, nor 90, 91, 92, 93) - when I went back to View that dest code it shows them like previously posted: 90 thru 93 unavailable and 94 thru 99 "Assigned"
sorry for the confusion on the dest codes, I didn't know why it was set that way.
I figured they were there by default. it turns out someone else tried programming this system first
is it possible the circuit could go "stale" so to speak and not allow for outcalling after it was offline for...
Thanks in advance for any help
0x32 MICS R7 w PRI - reprogramming from scratch - apparently I am too rusty to figure out how to get dial 9 and outside calls working.
Everything (incoming main numbers and DIDs) works fine - everything other than calling out - can not call any number out.
Can...
0x32 R7
can call any number (LD/800's) but can not call any local area code number - we have 10 digit dial for all calls here.
get first 7 digits dialed and then fast busy.
I was thinking it was the PRI provider local routes were not programmed correctly but Windstream insists it is our issue...
not a bad idea other than the idea of getting them up now versus tomorrow - figuring this may be a programming issue and would take an hour or so to fix but has not worked out that way.
DTI card is lit solid green so Keycode is not the issue, PRI tested good,so I am going to go thru and check...
Did find some programming notes including 3 sets of numbers that are "PRI keycodes" - is there some info on how/where to check that the numbers are programmed correctly? Thanks
Thanks, when you call and get dial tone you can not dial an extension from there.
just dial tone, however I recall getting stuttered dial tone when I dialed one of the other main numbers.
Line 1 Prime set was set to 253, that is not an existing extension here so I changed it to 221 - front...
not sure if PRI programming was lost or wtf happened but had a power surge last week that fried an 0x16 module and ports 101-108 on KSU. so today the plan was to replace the 0x32 cab - we did so but realized the programming did not xfer to replacement unit and decided to go with original unit...
Thanks again for the input. PCs are not near the phones and there are no radio or microwave signals anywhere near this building that I am aware of. I have plugged into a panamax surge protector and it into a differnet 20amp outlet than it was before. The problem is gaining ground with 2 more...
Thanks for the suggestions. Have tried different power outlets and different ups. I made sure the cable run is not sitting on any power lines or lights.
Might try hooking up a phone direct to the station port on the 66 block but since the problem is intermittent I would not feel sure the cable...
This one has me stumped. Let me know if you have seen this and/or have any suggestions.
MICS 8x32 plus 0x12 (fiber)- 5 phone lines and using 30 M7310 handsets.
Approx 6 handsets hear an intermittent buzz on internal (intercom) as well as outside line calls. There are 2 of these 6 extensions...
Thx. unfortunately the FM tuner is built into the amp itself. That is how I tested the speakers to be sure that was not the issue. It could be the amp channel is blown I suppose. Not sure what happened.
Thanks. The line cord is 4 wire. did not put butt set on output of acs page port though.
I have an open station port I could try, do I need to program anything different to use the station port other than the setting on pagepal? probably have that ext in calling group?
I also have a bogen...
Had an Avaya ACS R3.0 powered off for 3 days - power outage while closed. Did need to reset day/time.
Power back up and paging is dead. The amp also has an FM tuner and it plays over the speakers so it should be fine.
PagePal interface has a steady green light blinking so it supposedly is...
So I have not used the "soundstation 2 nortel direct connect" polycom's before. according to the ad online it eliminates the need for an ATA. Well, I hooked mine up and it does not provide dial tone...7208 works fine at that extension so it is a good DN/wiring. It is on a MICS 0x32 - I am...
