sorry to say, but I did that already.
When we were running auto, the problem was unattenable. in both locations, and 2 different switches after ensuring they were auto.
I had to hard set the switch to 10mbit on both ends to get it to last 5 days.
it must be a hardware problem.
All the issues are global to the building
nothing recently added to the room eg equipment
I have even located it to a different part of the building with different conditions but have the same issues
the unit is an appliance, and has no servicable parts in it. think of it as a large linksys...
Yes, the wireless access points appear to be working properly. nothing has really changed on them, and our cisco ip phones and other wireless devices are working without issue.
again, power cycling the SVP server resumes normal operation of the spectralink devices.
We have a spectralink i640 system (i640 handsets) running SCCP over our network and have a SVP100 (model #SVP101) controller that prioritises the voice traffic with our cisco aironet access points.
We have had this system running very smoothly for over 2 years.
Recently, the SVP controller...
Been looking around for a way to build a field with a custom value. I can seem to only get half way. Need to create an ID based on the values of the created field, department, category and title all in the form of a string
working with the date in a calculated field is ok, however working with...
1) Can't Ghost RAID, don't even try... you can corrupt the raid.
2) Won't delve too much in server rebuilding... Depends on the role/software used... Raid 5, and multipel AD controllers is a good start for now
3) BackupExec is my fav. You would only need SQL and Exchange agents. Don't need...
Hi there.
Been doing backup to disk with backupexec for a long while however I wanted to expand the availaibility of drives for a while now. Just running into a small problem.
Using a whitebox server with an ASUS board with an ICH5 southbridge and onboard SATA. The data/os drives are on an...
Unfortunealy I can't even get that far. If you use the 4.1.3 install CD and say that you want to install a subscriber, it checks the publisher's version and says they don't match. It then quits the install...
I have a callmanager v4.2.3 cluster on two servers.
Recently my subscriber crashed and I had to reinstall the OS.
My original install disks for callmanager are v4.1.3.
Is there a way to bring the subscriber back up to 4.2.3 without brand new 4.2.3 install cds?
Please advise.
Thanks
Thanks for your insight. I think I'd like to go to 6, once I investigate the upgrade process more, and make sure there are some service releases out for it.
Thanks
I upgraded to unity 5 a little while back. Ever since then when you call into a users voicemail you quite often get a LONG pause of like 10 - 15 seconds before the greeting starts playing. Just dead air.
It was doing this with both exchange 2003 and 2007.
Running unity 5 on an HP DL320-G3...
well I'm pretty sure 6 is more like 5.2... It's so similar to the previous version, that they ramped up the version # to say hello... we're new. :P
I also noticed that the upgrade codes for 6 are from 4.2 to 6, not 4.3 to 6... so I think I might refrain from 4.3.
Anyone using Callmanager 6?
Is it mature enough to consider upgrading?
Currently running on v4.2.3sr3
I have an upgrade pack to go to v4.3 which will be doing soon.
However, I do have SASU so am entitled to v5.x or v6.x.
I know they're both linux/appliance based.
Just wondering what your...
Thank you for your support.
I have contacted cisco tac and they suggested something similar. However, with modem passtrhough enabled, faxes from machines would be ok, but faxes from the fax modem still failed during handshaking.
I have updated my ATA to be 0x00120012 for audio settings and my...
Hi there.
I have two configurations of fax. Standard analog fax machines plugged into one port of an ATA186.
I also have 2 fax modems on a server for fax broadcast. They're each plugged into a port on an ata186.
I find that a standard fax machine on an indentically configured ata will work...
