Little correction to a formula just in case someone will stumble upon it in future:
IIf(InStr([Pay Date],'/')>0,DateValue([Pay Date]),DateSerial(Right([Pay Date],4),Left([Pay Date],2),Mid([Pay Date],3,2)))
Stella,
once I was thinking of "kover" in Rusian and "cover" in English. I don't know where from floor/wall rugs first came to Russia, but England would be my last guess.
Why "kover" then? :-D Should I be looking to where "cover" came to English from? What source would I use for that?
I second that,Thadeus!I closed it as my eyes started to get watery. But idea of not answering question as interesting, as it is controvercial. I found out what I want to do with my life at 37 - but it doesn't pay anything. So what was he asking? ;-D
Stella,
I never dreamed of seing "Ketchup and U.S. politics" in one sentence!!!
The way they explain it in the Chinese article - you can take any word, slice it and dice it and make anything you want out of it. I do it often compairing words in English and Russian and sometimes it seems to me...
E2,
I know that and I said I speak odd - I should of add I write oddly too sometimes.
But you know what is funny, at my every job I am always chosen to write documentation, isn't it crazy? I am keep wondering if this is an honor or punishement? :-D
But I think for 10 years being in this country...
Thanks, it is solved now in a different way because my Access wouldn't react on [Forms]![MyFormName]![MyControlName] I suspect installation screw up...Thanks you
Book on "adspeak"? I can contribute, I speak ad or odd?
I'll buy it:-D
Shouldn't it be oddspeak? :-D
People! There is so much info and so much to say by too many - why are you surprised?
American English still being critisized by Brits and fare from their point of view, but does American...
I forgot I posted it and WOW! Thanks.
I am thinking it was a "catsup" originaly maybe (which sound to me like a cat soup)
Then in America someone thought of "Ketchup" is a Catch Up (misspelled) to a better taste of food.
But catsup still confuses me. Anyway:-D
See, this is why I am going nuts! Is this possible that Access installation somehow screwed up? Everyone outside of this place can run my codes but me, here.
Thanks and it works now but twiking took half a day:-D
Hi!
When Report formula
=((Sum([TimeSpent]))*25)/60
gets moved to a Report Footer it calculates Total for the group.
Next Formula
=(Sum([TimeSpent]))/([Proj])
when moved to a Report Footer gives the same result as in a group. So it doesn't calculate a total.
I have 6 formulas 2 of which do...
ZmrAbdulla ,
