You could create a frameset where the bottom frame has a height of zero. Then put a page in there that does a javascript timeout which forces the page to reload. Then change some text or something on the main frame. [ta to tiz for pointing out that the rotating clock on Bfb is a simple...- Minkey

EJB question on inheritance
Yes and yes. Sun used to have an article on doing this, but then it disappeared and I was never able to find it again - maybe you are not supposed to do it. Inheritance with EJB is really tricky, esp. for entity beans and I don't think CMP can do it.
