Compaq Proliant 1600 Array Controller 221 upgrade
26 Sep 2003 Hi I want to add the new HDDs in to the old Array set itself and I was told to create a new Array set and add these new HDDs. Is it not possible to add to the existing RAID 5 Array set-up. ? Thanks karankiruba- karankiruba

23 Sep 2003 Hi I have Compaq Proliant 1600 server with Smart Array Controller 221 with RAID 5 configuration. This array is connected internally to 3 x 9GB HDD storage.
